Voices Unheard

I heard her sobs. I kept on working. I looked at my wrist watch, it was 3 a.m in the morning. Her sobs increased. She had slept an hour ago but then what happened suddenly? Had she even slept? I hadn’t noticed all this. We didn’t share much of a communication with each other but I knew a little about her. I had turned on the music as it made me feel good. But now I didn’t understand whether I should lower the volume of the music or use head phones or now that she was awake I could increase the volume too. I guess the song had an effect on her. The song spoke about memories and missing the one you love.
She kept on crying. Thirty minutes had already passed by but there wasn’t any change in her, in fact her wailing had increased all the more. She loved him, however and whoever he was. I observed her cell phone hadn’t rung today, it hadn’t rung yesterday even and the day before too. May be they were not on talking terms but then what is the point of loving each other when all you do is give pain to yourself as well as your partner too.
Love unites two souls. It is the purest form of feelings then why adulterate it with fights and communication gaps. It takes a lot of efforts to work out a relation but a small misunderstanding could break it. Communicate with your partner, tell him/her how bad you feel when he/she hurts you but never bring a break in your relation. It might result in a break up.

sometimes life is not so easy – communication makes things worse – for daily peace it becomes necessary to keep silent – unfortunate for the relationship but it is true – and somewhere the relationship silently dies

Yes Shilpa…Sometimes it's good to be silent but not in the long run
