Silence says it all

She kept on walking steadily by the road side. It was cold at night. She had forgotten her jacket. It felt calm and peaceful to walk alone with no body around. She wasn’t scared of the night as normally a girl would feel walking alone on an isolated road. There were thoughts running in her mind. Endlessly they wretched her apart but she didn’t react to any. It was tough to take it all. She missed him but didn’t want to be with him as of now. She knew the separation would come soon, why not start it from today to make herself strong. She couldn’t let him know that she was sad. It was the time to celebrate his success. He had finally got his dream job, he had got the ticket to US.
Suddenly she heard a voice, a very familiar voice calling out her name. She knew it was him. But she didn’t move, she didn’t react, she kept on walking. He came running to her. They began to walk together. It was cold and she badly needed something to wrap around. He saw this and like always passed on the jacket on to her. She took it silently. They sat on a bench but spoke nothing. She laid her head on his shoulder. They sat like this for a long time. It was peaceful to stay by his side.
Finally they got up and began walking home. No body spoke a word. Both of them were feeling the ache of separation. There was a time when they didn’t leave each other even for a minute but in a few days they would be away for months. In no time they had reached her apartment. She moved towards the door to unlock it. He turned back to go to his home. She grabbed his arm and hugged him tightly. Tears flowed from her eyes. She kept on wailing for a long duration hiding herself in his warmth. She loved him madly and couldn’t bear the news of being away from.
Love will always be present but a love that conquers distance is what we call as eternal. Time wanted to test their love this time.

In silence you can't hide anything … as you can in words. He's leaving the country not her heart 🙂 True love will stay strong regardless the distance.. Love your post!
    XOXO!
